Located in the beautiful Hungry Mother State Park just out of Marion, VA. Container is small and has a log and pencil only . Placed with permission.
The best way and shortest route to this cache is to come in to the boat ramp parking at N 36 52.375 W 081 30.789 and while there you can pick up a couple of other great caches. If you want to bike the Lake Trail (Blue Blazed) this is the way to come in. The down hills far out weight the up hills. Coming from the boat ramp side you will come to a trail on your right called The CCC Trail (Orange Blazed). Now if you are an iron lung biker you might climb this little incline but if you are like me I pushed up and enjoyed the ride down. The view up there is really great as you will be looking over the dam and spillway part of the lake. And there are two benches to park your posterior apex on. WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO PUT IN A ZIP LINE and make this park even more attractive to the public. The container is about 5 inches long and 1 inches around. Not a good place for TB’s and swag. Please replace the cache as you found it for the enjoyment of the game.
