A cache located at Lake Mahinerangi.
Trust Power purchased the Dunedin City Waipori Power scheme in 1998, since then 2 new power stations have been built and commissioned on the Deep Stream diversion inflow. These 2 stations generate enough electricity to power approximately 3,000 homes. The transmission line carries the electricity generated across the Lake Mahinerangi and down to Waipori Falls.
The cache container is a black container with log book and pencil.
There is parking alongside.
