Geocache Description:

[ENG] This cache was placed to bring you to another interesting viewing point which offers a view of the sea or more precisely, the Tagalaht Bay which is the deepest bay on Saaremaa (up to 20m deep). The small viewing platform is located on the East coast of Tagamõisa peninsula, between two villages: Vaigu and Veere. It is 12m above sea level and wooden stairs will lead you down to the beach below which is a good fishing place. In 1930s this region was an important fishing center and boat harbour. From the terrace you can see a bit of Veere harbour which was built between 1960-63. It has a depth of 4m and is one of the main sprat and Baltic herring fishing harbours in Saaremaa throughout the year. As a curiosity the Tagamõisa peninsula is the region with most lakes on Saaremaa and it also has a lake (called Sarapiku) with the most islands (approx. a dozen).

About the cache
This cache is published on: [geocaching.com], [geopeitus.ee] and [opencaching.pl].
A drive-in cache placed between two viewing terraces. Cache is guarded by a loose branch, move it away to have easier access but remember to put it back. Please restore cache camouflage as you found it. No digging necessary. Container is a 0.8l plastic hermetic box (dimensions: 16 x 8 x 6 cm) put in a vapour permeable membrane sachet - it should allow the box to dry fast after getting wet - we are testing how this method works so please do NOT add any plastic bag.

[EST] Täname katsulas (Caro) tõlke eest!
See aare peideti selleks, et teile veel üht huvitavat merevaadet tutvustada. Tagalaht on Saaremaa sügavaim laht (kuni 20 m). Vaateplatvorm asub 12 meetri kõrgusel merepinnast Tagamõisa poolsaare idarannikul Vaigu ja Veere küla vahel. Trepp viib alla randa, kus on hea kalastamiskoht.

Aardest
See aare on avaldatud: [geocaching.com], [geopeitus.ee] ja [opencaching.pl].
Aare on peidetud kahe vaateplatvormi vahele. Aaret katab lahtine oks, eemalda see, kuid palun pane ka tagasi. Taasta maskeering nagu see oli. Kaevata ei ole vaja. Konteineriks on plastkarp hermeetiline (0.8l, mõõtmed: 16 x 8 x 6 cm), mis on pandud musta kilekotti/spetsiaalsesse ümbrisesse ja see peaks laskma karbil kiiresti kuivada. Testime seda, seega palun ärge pange karpi kilekotti.

Algselt karbis
» logiraamat, pliiats, teritaja, pabersalvrätikud, esmaleidja diplom, GP juhend
» kala mänguasi, puust krabikujuline magnet, puust laevakujuline magnet, kivist lehmakujuline magnet, kaks kuuli
» TravelBug: Travel Bug Dog Tag
» GeoKretid: Hungry Hippo, niebieski karabinczyk, B&B's Leapfrog ja B&B's Charlie's Angel II

Palve
Palun logige oma leid ka geocaching.com lehel ning võimaluse korral inglise keeles. Tänud!

Edukaid otsinguid!
