This cache is placed on a pleasant walk through the forest in Belhelvie. Parking is available just off Cairntack Road in the playing field carpark next to the playpark or even in a layby on the road between Belhelvie and Potterton.The terain is very easy going through the forest along a path and is located just next to a lodge and stream.
The cache is located at a place that I always aim to take a rest after trecking through the forest in Belhelvie. The path from the Belhelvie to Potterton road is well marked and if you make sure you stay as close to the fence at the side...you can't go wrong!!
As you approach the cache area....take a look at the lodge house accross the field to the right....and eventually you'll see a water lodge with a stream coming out of it. Many times I've seen a heron fishing here and today I saw 2 deer running through the fields.
The cache is situated at the weir in the trees to the side.
