Squeal Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

littlepig: There used to be a path that came very near this spot, but prairie restoration has taken that over. Then there's the history of being muggled, and the host disintegrating long ago. Time to archive.

Geocache Description:

Please be careful of the old wire fence nearby. This is best avoided by entering the trees a few feet south-east of the cache. The cache is NOT on any man-made structure -- stay away from these.

This is the second cache placed by the littlest piglet who wanted to celebrate that moment when you’ve juuuust found the cache.

This cache is placed just off a piece of ComEd right of way. They have been converting sections of transmission rights of way to native prairie throughout northern Illinois. There is a path cut along the right of way and the community is invited to enjoy the land as native grasses and flowers grow and wildlife return. Adjacent is an undeveloped portion of Cary-Grove Park where the cache is placed.

Suggested parking is at Cary-Gove Park where you can pick up the path to the east and turn north along the right of way to the cache. Please don’t park and approach from the subdivision to the east.
