Geocache Description:

[ENG] One of the memorial stones to the Estonia catastrophe was placed here, near the Ninase Limestone Cliff. Estonia was a cruise-ferry built in 1980 that sailed in the Baltic Sea for 14 years. In it's last year, when it was charted to Estline Ab it was renamed Estonia to symbolize the independence that Estonia gained after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The catastrophe occurred on September 28, 1994 as the ship was crossing the Baltic Sea, en route from Tallinn (Estonia), to Stockholm (Sweden). It claimed 852 lives and was one of the deadliest maritime disasters of the late 20th century. Every year, on the anniversary date, a fire is made here to commemorate all perished in this catastrophe.

About the cache
This cache is published on: [geocaching.com], [geopeitus.ee] and [opencaching.pl].
Road access is marked with brown tourist attraction sign and you can park your car ~200m from the 0-point, near a short tower (unfortunately it was closed for public when we were there). Follow the path to the cliff and then to the 0-point. Do NOT try to go closer with car as you will be crossing private access roads and no entry signs! Please restore cache camouflage as you found it. No digging necessary. Container is a 1.5l plastic box (dimensions: 14 x 14 x 8 cm) put in a vapour permeable membrane sachet - it should allow the box to dry fast after getting wet - we are testing how this method works so please do NOT add any plastic bag.

Original contents
» logbook, pencil, sharpener, FTF diploma, GC instructions
» UNO game cards, star-fish magnet, fox-toy, candle, Polish coin, pumpkin rubber, 3 small wooden magnets, marble, green stone and stickers
» Trackable GeoKrety: Chyba ryba, Wieloryb and B&B's Goldilocks

Estonia uppus 28. septembril 1994.a. sõites Tallinnast Stockholmi. Õnnetuses hukkus 852 inimest ning see oli 20. sajandi üks ohvriterohkemaid merekatastroofe. Igal aastal tehakse siin katastroofi aastapäeval tuld, mälestamaks kõiki hukkunuid.

Aardest
See aare on avaldatud: [geocaching.com], [geopeitus.ee] ja [opencaching.pl].
Juurdepääs on tähistatud pruuni vaatamisväärsuste viidaga ning auto saab parkida ~200 meetri kaugusele 0-puntkist väikese torni lähistele (kahjuks oli see tol päeval suletud, kui meie seal olime). Mine mööda rada pangani ning edasi 0-punkti. Palun MITTE autoga lähemale sõita, kuna tegemist on erateede ning keelumärkidega! Konteineriks on plastkarp (1.5l, mõõtmed: 14 x 14 x 8 cm), mis on pandud musta kilekotti/spetsiaalsesse ümbrisesse ja see peaks laskma karbil kiiresti kuivada. Testime seda, seega palun ärge pange karpi kilekotti.

Algselt karbis
» logiraamat, pliiats, teritaja, esmaleidja diplom, GP juhend
» UNO mängukaardid, meritäht-magnet, rebane, küünal, Poola münt, kummikõrvits, 3 väikest puust magnetit, kuulike, roheline kivi ning kleepsud
» GeoKretid: Chyba ryba, Wieloryb and B&B's Goldilocks

Palve
Palun logige oma leid ka geocaching.com lehel ning võimaluse korral inglise (või poola :P) keeles, sest Szymon ei saa eesti keelest aru. Tänud!

Edukaid otsinguid!
