The cache is a camo'd 3 oz. container hidden within the Waukau
Creek Dam Nature area. Easy parking available at Waypoint. Bring
your own pencil/pen. Not much bushwhacking, but terrain can be
tricky especially during winter, spring, or after rain. Also, may
not want to try this one in the dark.
On a recent visit to one of my favorite local nature areas, I
decided to take a walk downstream a bit when I stumbled across a
very interesting and somewhat disturbing site. The local pond has a
plenitude of carp and obviously something (or someone) has decided
to use this area to dispose of them. I've marked this spot with a
waypoint so you can check it out it along your trek to GZ.
Please take care with the cache and replace it as close or better
than it was found. Also, be careful not to disturb the graveyard so
others can experience it for themselves...else you may just find
yourself haunted by the ghost of one angry carp!
