Geocache Description:

This cache is container big enough to hold the log and a few small flat items. Please place cache container carefully out of view when replacing. BYOP.

At pier 11 there is a water taxi that runs directly to the Red Hook area of Brooklyn.

There is a small fee to use the taxi normally but for the weekend cachers there is this quote from the website:

"....Children 12 & under ride for free. Weekend service will remain free of charge to all riders and will run 11am - 8:40pm."

It is a great way for cachers from Manhattan to go take a free fast scenic ride to the caches in Brooklyn or the cachers from Brooklyn to arrive here to do some caches nearby in Manhattan. Bikes are welcome on the taxi.
