This hiking tour leads you to one of the most impressive landscapes of Carinthia. You will see almost 1000m high rock faces, green meadows, cool snow fields and an idyllic little mountain lake with a marvelous colored water. You can reach the cache location from multiple sides, but we recommend to hike from the "Untere Valentinalm" (at N46° 37.340 E012° 55.769) to the Valentintoerl and then to the lake (see picture "map"). The trail is very diversified and takes all in all about 5 to 6 hours. The total climbing height is 1100m so you have to have some endurance in hiking. It is not necessary to be free from giddiness but it helps a lot when you are footsure. Cache contents of the small/micro plastic box: pencil, log paper strips with cache notes, gyro and marbles Happy Geocaching!!!
