Geocache Description:

Great Family Cache

This is a relatively easy cache that does not involve any bushwacking or thorns. Do not attempt to locate the cache from the main road. There is a parking lot next to the Church. Use waypoint below for entrance to parking lot. There are many small children in the area so please drive slowly. St. Margaret’s Church, whose clapboard sanctuary building stands proudly on Broadneck Peninsula just north of Annapolis, Md., is one of the oldest continuously operating congregations in America. The church was founded in 1692, nearly 50 years before Thomas Jefferson’s parents began courting! As you hunt for the cache, take a few minutes and check out the several historic markers in the area. You are invited to pick up a brochure about the garden in the church nave. You are looking for a small bison tube. Log only bring your own writing stick. No flowers need be harmed to locate this one.
