Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. It is Lenawee County after all! At GZ walk about 20 paces northeast to avoid flooded area at times.

As a teenager I used to wake to the sound of polka music blaring from the speakers throughout the house. At that time of my life I loved to polka dance more than disco dance (dating myself). I came to this love of polka music because of my step father. He hosted a popular radio show "Polka Party" in Toledo for almost 60 years before he passed away. Now in it's 71st year, my mother still hosts the show. My step dad was heavily involved in the Polish community working for many years at the Senior Center in a large Polish neighborhood in Toledo. He promoted Polka music and was honored by the International Polka Association's Polka Hall of Fame. The cache can be found by solving for the North decimal coordinates .ABC and the West decimal coordinates .DEF. (Replace the last 3 digits of the posted N & W coordinates with your results below.) A. Where on the radio dial do you find the station that still broadcasts the show? Take the first 2 digits and subtract the 3rd. (Don't add the first 2 digits...just use them) - Update: The radio show no longer resides on this station so you must find the "original" station that hosted the show for over 60 years before management made the sad decision to end such a dynasty. :( B. What year was my step father born? Add the first and last digits. C. Use the last digit of the street address of the Senior Center named after my step dad. D. Add the 6 digits of the date (mm/dd/yy) that my step dad was inducted into the Polka Hall of Fame then subtract 19 E. How many letters are in the first and last name of the TV personality who was inducted posthumously the same day as my step father? From this subtract the number of "Polkas fur Streichquartett". F. Add the 6 digits of my dad's death (mm/dd/yy) then divide by the number of Julie Lee Golden Sun polkas (not waltzes) found on Google. (as played on YouTube)
