One of a series of 3 traditional and 1 bonus caches set to mark our first anniversary as part of the geocaching community. The containers vary from micro to regular.
They have been placed along a bridleway which is part of the Inland Coastal Path on the Ridgeway between Weymouth and Dorchester. The overall distance is less than 2 miles and there will be some retracing. However, with such great views as Portland on one side, and the Iron Age Fort of Maiden Castle plus the rolling Dorset countryside on the other this should be no hardship.
You need to collect a key code in each of the 3 caches to solve the co-ordinates for the Bonus cache. You will also need to read the details in the Bonus cache before leaving home otherwise you may not be able to make any sense of anything!
Free parking can be found at N50 40.667 W002 28.696. Alternative parking can be found at the Ship Inn (good cheap lunches here) at N50 39.812 W002 28.106 - using this parking will add an extra mile.
The container here is suitable to small items and swaps.
