Geocache Description:

Welcome to a quiet countryside walk of around seven and a half miles, crossing the county boundary from Hampshire into Wiltshire with some lovely views across to the spire of Salisbury cathedral in one direction, and the New Forest in another.

This is a series of 19 small and micro caches of various sizes appropriate to the hide and includes a simple, fun puzzle for you to sort out at number 17. Please read the cache page for the puzzle before you begin. The route passes Gran’s Place GCGRDZ along the way, and YOSM 354 East Dean is a very short diversion from the route. There are a number of stiles to cross, and a couple of inclines but nothing too strenuous. All the caches are meant to be found, only a couple really need a bit of a search. Please bring a pen. The terrain ratting reflects the series as a whole. Please park around N51.01.980 W1.34.848 On the way round there are a number of pill boxes and I saw a few buzzards and three deer. There were also several helicopters, including a Chinook which was very low above me on the top of the hill then came in so near to the ground that I thought it was going to land, hovered for a few moments before moving off again. I really hope you like your journey. It is the sort of series I really enjoy, and I hope that you do too.
