This is a series of 7 caches named after Edwin Woolsey.
Most are on an unmarked mountain bike trail (not on map)
If you are not familiar with the trail system, you may want to get a trail map at the Arcadian Shop or online www.townoflenox.com/public_documents/lenoxma_parkland/kennedy.
Edwin Woolsey (1803-1872) had the good vision to purchase these 12 parcels of land over a 7 year period in the 1850s to create the park we all enjoy today. This 500 acre park with 8 miles of bridle and carriage trails (and many other connecting trails) was known as the Woolsey Woods for many years. If not for Woolsey this park wouldn’t exist today. So, all 6 caches are named after him!!
All caches are winter friendly.
Parking at 42 22.978 073 16.712 or at the Arcadian Shop
There are some other spots to park.
