This cache is part of our 'Cache and Release" series. The cache is located near the Fishdam River boat launch on US-2. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE FROM THE HIGHWAY! Stealth will be required.
You do not need a boat to reach this cache. However, if you are paddling or boating on the river/Lake Michigan, please do your part to prevent the spread of invasive species and remember that when fishing, persons over the age of 16 must have in their possession a valid fishing license (or risk a fine).
There will be no need to venture far from established trails. The cache is a medium sized clear plastic container with a cammoed lid in compliance with the MiGO/DNR policy guidelines. Please trade items appropriately and pursuant to the MiGO/DNR policy.
Please rehide the cache exactly where found.
While picking wild berries, morel mushrooms, etc. for personal use is allowed, please do not remove any vegetation, trees/wood, soil, rocks, etc. from state land while searching for this cache.
To better support the MiGO/DNR relationship, we appreciate all who participate in CITO (cache in, trash out) whenever possible.
