Glas Maol is another Munro found in Section 7 of the Munro tables. It forms the East section of the Glenshee Ski centre and therefore is littered with tows, fences etc. While this makes it not the most attractive of hills, it's still a good walk and for Munro baggers, needs to be done!
Start at the carpark located at N 56 52.852, W 003 24.612 There is a PP cache at this carpark too! Follow the obvious wide track East up the hill using the ski tows as markers. Once you get to the top of the tow the track stops however a path continues on and will take you all the way to the summit.
The area is littered with things that match the hint, as you would expect, but the hint is pretty descriptive, just make sure you bring a magnetic compass.
Please be aware that in good conditions this is still a strenuous walk but in bad conditions extreme care should be taken as it can be very dangerous. Weather conditions can change in a matter of minutes and all the usual warnings apply when walking up munros. The following points should be observed (Thanks Snaik!)

If in a Group know how many are in your party and stay together, never split up.
Ensure you have enough food plus emergency rations
Carry a map & compass, survival bag, torch, whistle and small first aid kit. Know how to use them.
In severe winter conditions you must carry an ice axe. You are also recommended to carry crampons.
