Grail Quest Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Heartland Cacher: Hello StinkyMillers

I have contacted the City of Lincoln Watershed Management Division and have been advised that caches placed in Storm drains are not allowed. They stated that some but not all storm drains have no trespassing signs at the entrances, but even if they don't have signs entering them is considered trespassing. With all that being said I am archiving this cache.

Thanks for your understanding,

Heartland Cacher

Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT located at the published coordinates--used to be a Blockbuster. Now you'll need to go on NetFlix for the info. I guess I watched too much Monty Python in college--I think it may kill brain cells. That probably explains a lot.

This will test your trivia knowledge of a classic/notorious/very silly movie. Why it didn't win any Academy Awards, I'll never know, but they did make a Broadway musical out of it a few years ago... Use the answers to the following trivia from Monty Python and the Holy Grail to obtain the final location of the cache. Eight answers are even numbers, and five are odd numbers.

A. Number of horses ridden by King Arthur during the movie.

B. Weight (in ounces) of an unlaiden European swallow.

C. Number of times that the taunting French are encountered in the movie.

D. Number of mortal wounds King Arthur inflicts upon the Black Knight.

E. Number of flying cows in the movie.

F. Number of heads on the giant encountered by brave Sir Robin.

G. Number of maidens that tempts Sir Galahad in Castle Anthrax (how many live there).

H. Number of castles built in the swamp.

I. Number of knights who say Ni!

J. Number of minstrels that follow brave Sir Robin. I counted the percussionist.

K. Number that King Arthur counts after '2' when throwing the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

L. Number of horns on the head of Tim the Enchanter.

M. Number of questions that must be answered at The Bridge of Death.

N. Number of knights thrown into The Gorge of Eternal Peril.

As in all important quests, there will be a final test. No longer will you have to open the lock. Your only test is the test of COURAGE.

"Follow. But. Follow only if ye be men of valour, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived. Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth."--Tim the Enchanter
