Geocache Description:

This cache will take you on a gentle walk around the Nottinghamshire village of Gunthorpe following a number of clues to arrive at the cache.

The co-ordinates listed are not for the cache itself, but
a car park; and a good base for the village's pubs and very nice restaurants. This would also be a good cache for those arriving by boat from the River Trent as there are nearby moorings and a marina.

Note: The cache has been moved from its original location due to an infestation! The final clue has been updated accordingly.

This is the first cache we have hidden, so we hope you enjoy; any feedback gratefully received (good or bad!). As well as reflecting the name of the village, the name of the cache gives a hint to two of the waypoints as well as two of the original cache contents.

Start at/head to the co-ordinates listed, where you will be able to park and if necessary charge your batteries at one of the local pubs or restaurants nearby.
