Situated on an island in the Bow River upstream of Cochrane.
This cache was placed to add to the string of caches that are situated on islands along this stretch of the Bow River. You can put in at the Ghost Dam and take out at the Highway 22 Bridge at Cochrane. This section of river offers some fast water and some leisurely drifts appropriate for rafts, canoe or kayak.
Although the cache is on an island there are times when it can be accessed by foot, such as early morning before the Dam opens. If you attempt a land approach be observant of changing water conditions or you could end up on a Vituperative Tangent.
