Geocache Description:

In Mendon Ponds Park, 150 feet off a side trail that takes off from a main hiking/XC ski trail. Round trip hike from parking spot (see long description) is less than a mile. Cache will be buried in winter, so find it before the snow flies!

This cache was placed to commemorate our wonderful black lab, Shady, who used to love hiking here. Now our two corgis, Wicket and Teebo, love it just as much. They "helped" hide the cache. It contains mainly natural treasures: shells, rocks, small pine cones.

Best place to park is at a pull off from Canfield Road; coordinates: N 43 01.998 W 077 32.867
