Geocache Description:

Alberta Battlecache Peter's cache is green inside and out. The cache content has a cartoon theme.

This cache is for the CCARS09 event, and should not be sought out until after 5:30 pm on September 25th, 2009 and any logs before that will be deleted.

As a 'green' member of the geocaching community and to keep in line with the requirements for the category we looked for green cartoon characters to put in the cache. Peter (6 years old) found some favorites at home like Shrek and Tinkerbell and filled it up with other green characters like a green frog bookmark, green milk moo stickers, a "monsters vs. aliens" PEZ dispenser, the "crazy frog" and Sponge Bob (on a green ruler). There is a copy of "the Hulk" in there for the FTF. Please keep the theme in tact by trading either green items or cartoon characters.

The cache location is along the Bow river and a nice location to watch people go by in inflatable boats (summer) or throw some pebbles. Winter view is nice as well! Although this seems to be a quiet area of the park, beware of muggles with dogs.
