Weirly Interesting Too (Otago) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

katie w: Although nothing has changed in the approach to GZ, it seems that there is now a health and safety issue with the location- and since it has not been found in nearly 3 years, I have removed the container, and decided to archive.

Geocache Description:

A short walk in a lovely location. FYI the No Admittance sign is no longer applicable- it dates back many years ago, water is no longer collected from the weir for human consumption.

The cache is a 250 ml clear sistema container with log book pen and cache note. There is room for small swaps.
The walk in involves crossing bridges located high above the stream bed, there are safety rails, but care should be taken at the weir location especially.
It seems I should also add-BEWARE THE WILD CHOOK!
The cache is a short distance past the weir along the little "track".
Accuracy when placed was 7m, so the hint is pretty specific.
Recommended park is at the top of the motorway in the car parking area. Do not park in any gateway.

The suggested track entry is a short distance down the road, (coordinates given), an alternative entry is from the start of the Burns Track below Williamson's Creek bridge.
