Geocache Description:

Placed in memory of Chris Douglass. Located on a mountain filled with memories.

We placed our first GeoCache on Tumbledown Mountain in Weld, Maine.

Take these GPS coordinates to get out and experience one of the best treks this area offers. There are 3+ trails to choose from, small streams to appreciate, and a pond near the top. Plus lots of rock to run around on as well as great places to camp. At 2,500+ feet, the views are pretty nice too.

For a longer hike, continue on to find the Rabbit Hole geocache.

This GeoCache was placed in memory of my brother, Chris Douglass. Watch his videos and read his words at ChrisDouglass.org.

We appreciate your trek to Tumbledown and your mention in the logbook.

Nov 19, 2009 update - Cache is settled in for the winter visitors. My mother and I really enjoyed reading the logbook. Thank you everyone who has visited!

May 31, 2010 - Cache looks good and is restocked. When signing the logbook, please be careful with the first page (it may fall out). Next time up I will fix it.
