North Trail Roundabout Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future (within 60 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

The cache is in Silver Creek Park in Allegan County. Three stage Multi, around the 1.2 mile North Trail.

Silver Creek Park is primarily a horseman’s park and has both day use facilities and a primitive campground. Silver Creek is 320 acres of camping, equestrian trails, and fishing. There are 75 campsites in the park, 65 of which are available for horse camping. Silver Creek also has 450 feet of frontage on Silver Creek, which is a spring fed trout stream. You will also find picnic tables and grills available in the day use area. The most beautiful and unique thing about Silver Creek is that the entire park is primarily wooded, providing for plenty of shade in the hot summer months and some spectacular foliage color in the fall. In keeping with the primitive setting, there are no modern restrooms or running water, but there are hand pumps and vault toilets. Silver Creek Park is open year round and has some spectacular fall and winter camping available.

Our first Geocache hide is a three stage multi, around the 1.2 mile North Trail. The first stage is a film canister, the second is a pill bottle (both camoflagued), and the final is a small ammo can. All stages are hidden in the traditional way. There are a few trinkets to start for the young ones, and a FTF prize. Terrain is relatively flat. Also, may need to avoid the occasional landmine, if you get my meaning.
