No Outlet Traditional Cache
CraigsOutside: I'm sad to say that it is time for this one to go. This is the second cache I'd ever hid, over six years ago. Edison has come along and replaced all of the local power poles in the area and this was a victim of progress. As noted, there is now a no trespassing sign in place as well.
Thank you to all who came to enjoy the cache and the beginning of my story.
The spot is now free for someone to come along and hide another simple guard rail cache, namaloka.

Once you start getting close, you'll find No Outlet. However there
is little space to park nearby and no "private property" or "no
trespassing" signs that I could see.
When I was just starting out, I quickly noticed that EVERYONE used abreviations in their descriptions and logs. I learned pretty quick what GSAK stood for, too. I thought, "cool! Software aptly named after a very useful pocketknife with lots of gadgets." I used to have one when I was in the BSA; mine had a couple of knife blades, bottle opener, can opener, saw, phillips and slotted screwdrivers, fish scaler, tweezers, toothpick, scissors, and a magnifying lens for frying ants. They all came in handy at one time or another, though I did lose the toothpick pretty quickly but then I could just carve a new one if I needed to . It did take me a while to figure out what TOTT meant, though. Whenever I read that in a description, it always seemed to mean that you need a special TOTT ladder to reach the goal because it was placed up high and potentially out of reach for some. Being 6 feet, it never seemed to me like I needed a special TOTT ladder, not that I brought one. Now, I don't have a fancy-schmancy SAK any more, but I do have a pretty handy multi-tool, which I call my GSAK and it has most of those same gadgets plus a good plier but no toothpick or magnifying glass. These days, I don't leave the house without my GSAK on my belt or in my pocket and I've been known to improvise with sticks to retrieve caches out of reach, or even had to jump a bit, but I haven't needed a ladder to retrieve a cache yet.
You didn't leave the house without your GSAK, did you?
Please make sure you re-secure the cache cover well, to keep it protected from the elements.
Starting bobbles include: of course a log book and a couple of pencils, a 1 Turkish Lira coin, a geocaching button, some stickers and temporary tattoos for the kids, a dog agility live to run again button, and a Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu pin for the lucky winner.
