Located immediately off the bike trail entrance at Lake Altoona
Park, you will find a small Ziploc container.
If you hike or bike into the park, there is no entrance fee. If
you drive in and park in the lot, a daily fee is required. If you
park in the lot, there is a hill you will have to go up hill on the
path to get to the cache, hence the 2.5 terrain rating.
There is a beach located in this park, and the Ski Sprite Water
Ski show occurs Wednesday and Sunday evenings in the summer.
Plenty of playground equipment for the kids, and a boat launch
is nearby.
Please rehide well as this cache could be spotted from the trail
by muggles if not camo'd.
NOTE: I have been informed by a fellow cacher that his
daughter babysits for a child that lives near this cache. The child
told her sitter about a "Magical Box". My suggestion is that
cachers might not want to drop trackables in this cache. I highly
encourage that small toys be left in this cache. It appears we have
a young "cacher in training."
