Enjoy this short hike and views of Hall Creek in the Greer, Arizona area.
Hall Creek is one of four streams that merge into the Little Colorado River (along with East, West and South Forks).
As you head into Greer, after turning from AZ Hwy 260 onto AZ Hwy 373, there will be a little dirt parking lot on your left just as you arrive at the Hall Creek bridge. Near the cliff edge, you will find a gate (lift the wire loop over the top of the post) and you can head on your journey. A short distance in you will find the cache in a location overlooking the mini gorge. There is a steep drop-off nearby, so be careful with kids.
The cache is a 5x7 plastic rubbermaid-type box. At initial placement, the cache contained $3 for the FTF, a log book and pen, a Sun Devil lanyard, Mardi Gras beads, various pins and colorful office paraphernalia.
Enjoy the creek and the many caches in the area surrounding Greer. This cache is probably more of a Fall, Spring and Summer cache, as it maybe challenging when there is anything more than a couple inches of snow on the ground.
