Geocache Description:


Part of the "Movies of the 80's" caches, hidden by the 30 something (& 40 something) crowd....The 40 something crew did graduate in the 80's!!

The RIVER

Tom Garvey (played by Mel Gibson) and his wife Mae (played by Sissy Spacek) are having the battle of their lives which include trying to hold on to their farm in the movie The River.

To make matters worst, their lives take a downward spiral as they have to battle with storms and holding on to their farm so that it would not get repossessed. They may not have much money, but they’ve got each other’s love, which is holding them together in the movie The River.

Although, you may not have battle for your life to retrieve this cache, you may have to battle wicked bushes, furry black critters, pokey critters and what ever else you may find in the Alaskan wilderness. LOVE will not get you to this cache, just the drive to log this as a FIND!

Depending on which direction you aproach GZ, depends on the terrain rating!! It could go higher...

Cache is an ammo can, containing trades and a "Congrats" stamp for scrapbooking for FTF.
