Cache that is located about 30 ft from Colorado Trail and yet accessible from the County Road (about 80 ft) down a small hill. Accessible only while road is open. Not 4x4 road but SUV recommended. Park along road w/ semi level terrain.
OldNo7MedicineShow was taken to this place on Labor Day weekend by Breanna and it is a "first cache" placed by a "newbie" to the sport. She wanted it to be more accessible so we didn't put it at high altitude and made it accessible to many.
She really liked the view of "Cache Creek" valley from here! Take Chaffee County Road 398 behind Granite Store to the west about 5 miles. The Fall colors are starting to become INCREDIBLE!
Continuing up this road will take you from 9500 ft in altitude to 12,000 ft in Altitude (4x4 vehicle at that stage)
Painted ZipLoc plastic container.
Original contents include a OldNo7 FTF Card and $1, a small Yo-Yo, a carbeener Pen combo, a freshwater native mussel shell (the good kind), a small pencil and logbook.
