This cache is located in a little town called Chinook Washington. A park and grab, Bring a writing utensil and tweezers! If you have younguns watch out for traffic. It can be busy at times. Please be aware of muggles and limit caching to daylight hours. I have replaced this cache multiple times due to theft of container. I have literally tied it down but someone still took it! I don’t want to shut it down completely so I’m replacing it with a micro.
Turkeys used to hang out in this area at a restaurant called the B+B Drive In. Old timers relate eating their hamburgers as the turkeys would look in the windows. One forlorn white turkey was named Matilda. Matilda became a favorite and someone knitted her a little sweater to keep her warm because she didn't have very many feathers. My mom, sister and I wanted to dedicate our very first Cache to Matilda the turkey. This building is now remodeled and now is the Columbia River Road House. We also wanted people to stop and appreciate this little town as it usually is by passed on the way to a beach town further down the way. The gps signal bounces here so keep looking it's there! Congratulations to Lenny50 FTF. This is now a micro cache due to constant theft. Bring tweezers and writing utensil.
