It seems that many caches in Davis are mystery caches. I'm not very good at mystery caches myself. Inspired by all the mystery caches and ecrane in Davis, I'd thought I'd hide one myself, my very first Mystery Cache.
The cache is at the location N 38° AB.CDE W 121° FG.HIJ

I once hid a cache like this in Chico (GC1RYNX), it's now adopted by my friend, mentor and the person who got me involved in geocaching, Muniman. This cache gave many cachers difficulty finding.
Sorry, no geochecker. As Muniman once said, "I liked those type of mystery caches where you solve the puzzle and you go ou to look for the cache. If you don't find it you either solved the mystery correct but couldn't find the cache, or you solved it incorrectly." The fun is in the mystery and not knowing.
After the FTF, I'll start confirming coords via email for those who solved puzzle and went to look for the cache but could not find.
Be very careful with the cache and place exactly as found to save the fun for others... you'll know what I mean once you find it and rehide, if you don't rehide just as well... it wont be as fun (or difficult).
