Deer Sanctuary Traditional Cache

Tex's Deer Sanctuary

This cache is located along W Harry Street, near the north end of Tex Consolver Municipal Golf Course. This area is residential, so please be respectful and do not park along Harry near the cache. Please park east or west of the houses and take the short walk to the cache.

This area is a Deer sanctuary from the busy golf course and highly trafficked Harry Street. Deer frequently move along this small stretch of woods to and from west Pawnee Prairie Park as you will see once at the posted coordinates. Deer are smart, and the area is protected by lots of poison ivy. However, if you pass on the most direct route to the cache, you will find some access void of poison ivy. Use stealth while approaching to avoid being seen by the neighbors and increase your chances of sneaking up on some Deer. Enjoy!
