Geocache Description:

The Silvermoon cache is located along Donnybrook Road in what is now Thames Centre, formerly North Dorchester township, and way way back, the hamlet of Silvermoon. The terrain is a bit rough and overgrown, and there's a few holes in the ground near the GZ, but it's not far off the road.

Welcome to the first geocache in the Small Villages of Southwestern Ontario series. Silvermoon is one of many hamlets that did have a name once, that most people have forgotten. There isn't even a sign identifying the village, as most people now consider this part of Dorchester. However, Google Maps still shows the name Silvermoon on their road maps!

The cache is small, but bigger than a micro. It can fit small prizes and a TB or two. It is close to the 401, and so I expect it will be found regularly by travellers. I have started it off with a geocoin and several pins from the region. Please trade a pin, or swap TBs and geocoins.

Congrats to Beachcachers for a quick FTF!
