in our disclaimer.
RAF Edlesborough was a listening Station, but it is now closed
down. A listening station is a facility established to monitor
radio and microwave signals and analyse their content to secure
information and intelligence for use by the security and diplomatic
community. The sonar connection lives on in that the site is now a
protected habitat for bats and the communications connection in
that they are planning to erect mobile phone masts on this
site.
The cache is another bloomin micro! The cache is located near to a
busy road so please take care, especially when crossing the road.
Parking is available a bit further down the road in a layby (see
child waypoint)
