Geocache Description:

A leisurely stroll through the woods in the Nimham Multiple Use Area in Putnam County

A nice walk through the woods in the Nimham Multiple Use Area. Parking is on Nichols Street (coordinates below). You can either go there and back or make a nice loop hike of around a mile or so. While your on this side of the street you might as well go after my other cache Darkness which is hidden amongst the hemlocks. I have provided a way point for the junction of the loop trail . The most direct way is to the left, a hundred or so feet from the way point you will see a clear trail. Follow it to the top of the hill to find what you seek. The trail is well defined and there are yellow and red trail markers here and there also. There was some kind of horse event in the area recently so watch where you step in places. The cache has a pencil and plenty of items to trade. THERE IS HUNTING IN THIS NECK OF THE WOODS SO IF YOU GO DURING HUNTING SEASON MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SOMETHING ORANGE!.................Good Luck, Have Fun, and Enjoy!
