Geocache Description:

THIS IS NO ORDINARY CACHE! It's a log library, a place where you can place archived logbooks, and make a find.

Please read the full description before placing any logs:

Located in Fort Ethan Allen park, this cache is a 66- quart bin.

I have thought about making this kind of cache the day I was introduced into geocaching, and now, I have finally got it published. It took me weeks to figure out how to make this kind of cache.

I have tried to place this container in the most convenient place possible where you can hide a 66- quart bin so it can be convenient for people to run through the area, and just drop off logs.

The whole Idea of this cache is to stop having logbooks from being thrown away. There are so many logbooks out there, really, one per geocache. And, so, what happens when they get full? or if the cache gets archived? they get thrown away.

Logbooks, although they may seem useless at first, are a symbolic meaning for how much effort goes into finding a cache.

Although just signing a piece of paper really takes no work at all, the logbook proves that a geocacher found a geocache, and although they write logs on geocaching.com, logs are the real proof. Logbooks really prove that a geocacher has made the effort to find a cache, and that's why they're so important.

Now, you can find this cache just as any other cache, sign the logbook, and log the find. But what this container is really here for is for you to place logbooks into it.

If you are going to place a logbook into it, and you may place as many logbooks into it as you like, then please just read over, and follow there rules:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DO NOT TAKE ANY LOGBOOK PLACED IN THIS CACHE! YOU MAY LOOK, BUT DO NOT TAKE.

There are two notebooks, a purple cache log (sign it when you find the cache) and a red Library log (sign this when you place a log into the container.)

This cache is assorted into several different libraries: A, B, C, and D. Each has its own logbook size specified for it.

Library A: SMALL LOGS. this is a small, clear plastic box that has many envelopes in it. The envelopes are assorted by numbers __A. please put a log in the next number envelope that is not being used. After placing the log, please put the two plastic bags around the container, then sign the library log (red book) in the library in the A section: your envelope # and the name of the log. Then post a note on geocaching.com with the same info.

Library B: MEDIUM LOGS this is the same container as library A, but it is used for logs that cannot fit inside envelopes (like small notebooks) these should be labeled with the next number not being currently used (check library B section in the library logbook),B. Again, write the number and name in the library log, and on geocaching.com.

Library C: LARGE LOGS (notebooks/ composition books) Logs should be labeled with next number not currently being used, C. Write # and name in the library log, and on geocaching.com.

Library D: OTHER LOGS these are for logs that do not suit any of the other categories and do not fit into any container. Please bag these up, and write the next # currently not being used ,D. Log it in the library log, and on geocaching.com.

Swag/TB bin: trade swag and Travel bugs/ geocoins in this bin.

PLEASE PUT # AND NAME OF LOG IN THE LIBRARY NOTEBOOK AND ON GEOCACHING.COM!

If any library is full, please contact me, so I can place a new one in.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have any questions concerning the rules (I know they may seem rather complicated) or anything else, feel free to contact me.

Congratulations to CBElliott on the First To Find!

Thanks for looking, and Happy Geocaching!
