Geocache Description:


This is my first cache placement. It is placed on private property with permission of the owners. Please enter the property only at N42 56.251, W089 35.800, where there is a trail. This is also a pretty good place to park on the side of the road. Please be respectful of the owners and their property. If you encounter someone on the property, please introduce yourself and let them know that you are geocaching. The owners are very friendly and have done some geocaching themselves. I hope you enjoy your visit to this beautiful area.

I usually go caching with my kids so I wanted to make a kid friendly cache. Most of the hike is very kid friendly; however, the last little bit of the hike is a little bit tougher (hence the 3 rating for terrain). Some hand holding or close adult supervision is recommended for those with younger kids. Older kids will probably love this last section. The cache is an ammo box initially stocked with quite a few trade items that are better than average. Please trade well to keep a good find of treasure for young kids.
