A basic hide with a good view over Norman's beach and beyond to Mt Manypeaks and Waychinicup National Park.
Park in the campground / carpark. A few years back DEC and the Albany Council closed the beach to vehicles. Walk down the track and follow your GPS to the co-ordinates.
This site has a high rubbish to nature ratio, particularly at the campsite so practice "cache in and rubbish out"
14-08-16 Well, and so things change. Having placed this cache here nearly 6 years ago, we haven't actually been back to it for a while - a long while! So when we came back today to re-hide this muggled cache, we were stunned to find we didn't even recognise the area! We checked the place Albany Canucks had chosen to relocate our cache to (Thanks Albany Canucks for the favour!) and not being able to locate it ourselves, replaced it with a new container, log and knick knacks.
Please take care to re-hide it safely, so that muggles won't see it, coming up the steps, and that it may enjoy a long life and you and other cachers may enjoy finding it and the beautiful spot it is in!
