Geocache Description:

The Malvern Hills have been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The Hills run in a North-South alignment and are approximately 8 miles long and 3/4 mile across. The Hills rise to a summit of 1394ft at The Worcester Beacon and they provide walkers, ramblers etc with nearly 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways. The Hills are home to the much-acclaimed Malvern Water. The Hills and adjacent Commons are maintained by the Malvern Hills Conservators working within the Malvern Hills Acts. See (visit link)

The placing of this cache within the Malvern Hills AONB has been approved by the Director, Malvern Hills Conservators.

This 2-mile loop starts and finishes in North Quarry where parking is available (remember to buy a ticket as the money raised is used to maintain the Hills) and takes the walker up a series of designated paths up to St Ann's Well and back.

Proper footwear is recommended as the paths can become muddy in places after spells of rain.

The cache is within 5 feet of the path. There is no need to 'follow the needle' and it would be unsafe to do so. Please keep the little geocachers under close supervision.

Please ensure that the cache is returned to its hide and covered. Muggle numbers can be high on this popular series of footpaths so stealth is required.
