Island Nano - Harrow Lodge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Geocache Description:

The location is Harrow Lodge Park. The cache is along a tarmac path and is therefore accessible by wheelchair.

The lake in the centre of the park has a few islands. One of which is accessible by bridges. Here you can see many birds such as Canada geese, ducks and even herons. They always appreciate some bread! I even see a squirrel on the island on the day I set the cache.

There is a nearby visitor centre where you can also hire a small paddle boat to take out on the water.

You are looking for a small aluminium nano about 35mm long by 12mm. Contains a logbook but no pen so please bring one along!

Enjoy
