Fishing on Ripley Traditional Cache
cwwiig: When I initially placed this cache over 3 years ago the shoreline here was unimproved and people used to park right near the cache to fish. I checked in on the cache recently after a few posts with concerns about it being on private property. It definitely looks to be the case. I accidentally placed it here thinking it was still county property as there was only a swamp on the opposite side of the road. The cache has been permanently removed. Thanks to everyone who let me know!

Park.
For those of us without a
boat, there are plenty of places nearby to try your luck at shore
fishing. Parking is available right by the cache, or you could park
a short distance to the north at West Ripley Park. Stealth may be
necessary depending on how hot the fishing is.
Cache is a small micro, so bring your own
pencil.
