Located just off the Peak Downs Highway in a rest area beside the Issac River. Should be an easy find for the observant.
Ludwig Leichhardt and his expedition pass by this location on their journey north to Port Essington in the Northern Territory. Their journey lasted over twelve months and covered over 4000km. Awesome effort in the year of 1844-1845.
