Geocache Description:

Easy find. Level terrain.

This is a Letterbox/Hybrid with 1 logbook. Both geocachers and letterboxers can sign/stamp in the same book.

This is a small Lok n Lok container with only room for geocoins or small Travelbugs.

****************************************************************************************
There is a rubber stamp of a rose in the hybrid. Please DO NOT take it !!! It is for Letterboxers to stamp in their own logbooks which they carry to keep a collection of stamps from all the boxes they find.

Letterboxing is a hobby similar to geocaching except boxers seldom use GPSr, but rather clues posted on Letterboxing websites. We use www.atlasquest.com.

If you want to try and find this hybrid the letterboxing way then go to the above website and do a search for Picton, Ontario. Rose Museum should pop up in the results.

The letterbox clue is also listed in the hint/spoiler section just incase you can't locate it at Atlasquest.

This area had one of the largest and oldest populations of German immigrants in the late 1700's. The Rose museum is a protrayal of early life in the area.

Museum is open weekends only in May and June, daily in July and August (closed Mondays), and weekends the 1st 2 weeks of Sept.
