An easy geocache placed near one of the film locations for Dr. Who.
At the moment, the car park by the beach is shut, there is a car park at the top of the road, also some parking outside the church on the main road. Hopefully this is only temporary because of Covid. This has long been a popular beach for our family to visit. It is even more popular with our little Dr. Who fanatics since several episodes of have been filmed there (most notably he said goodbye to Rose Tyler on this beach twice, the first time being in the episode Doomesday). It has also been a recent location for the new doctor (Matt Smith) to film in. This cache was inspired by the Who Was Here cache series by Pezzini, which we are currently working our way through. If you have time whilst visiting this cache, do go up to the old Victorian garden as it is well worth a short walk. The cache is a medium sized clip lock box containing the usual stuff and a small FTF prize which should be found very easily. There is a small parking fee at certain times.
