Geocache Description:

This cache was placed 101 Years after BP Passed here.

101 Years ago Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, the only chief scout of the world, passed here 101 years ago on his way to the

FIRST OFFICIAL SCOUT CAMP

Most people thought that BP Published the book 'Scouting for Boys' then held a camp at Brownsea and that was it! Well It wasn't; Brownsea was only an experimental camp. The camp, which was held at the cairn, is a little bit further along the track.

This was placed by 3rd Washington Scouts whilst partaking in the walk.

The GPS signal isn't the best under the trees so the coords may be a wee bit off

The cache is a small container which is white- so it shouldn't be too hard to find,

Happy Hunting!
