This cache is being placed in honor of Vick's mother, Patricia Petersen, who was taken from us way too soon. We didn't start caching until after her passing. If she were alive, she would be nagging to go with us all of the time.
Her resting place is about 80 feet north of the cache site. She is buried next to Vick's cousin and aunt whom were also both taken at a very young age. They are "gone but not forgotten".
