NGADJURI
What’s in a name?
Ngadjuri is the name given to a rest and revive stop on the Sturt Highway.
It’s a pleasant stop if you’re heading for the River Land or even the Barossa Valley
I would like to launch into the history and legend of the site here, but I feel it would spoil the impact of visiting the site in person
I would suggest bringing a thermos of tea or coffee and a bite to eat or if you’re been to the Barossa Valley to pick up some German Cake “kuchen” and a bottle of “Shnups” stop at the rest stop and enjoy.
When you’re done, walk north along the path to the plagues all six of them and have a read, you will discover the history of the place by yourself.
Or do like I would, grab the digital camera and take a photo of each plague and have a look at them once they are down loaded to the computer
The cache is near the walk way and is a magnetic mint tin with room for a note pad for you to sign please, Please bring your writing stick
Please take care when return the cache to its location.
This is a highly visible site so be on the look out for mugglers
Enjoy
