The Te Awamutu Rowing Club project began late last year.
It received support from the Waipa District Council and the local business community, sponsorship from funding agencies, materials from Timmo's ITM Building Centre and labour from Waikeria Prison.
Prison staff, inmates and rowing club members, joined forces to carry out the installation.
The facility is to be blessed and officially opened early October.
The public are also welcome to enjoy this facility, when the rowers are not, that is.
