Magnetic nano, wheelchair accessible if you take the center sidewalk to avoid the stairs, easy to find if you read the instructions. Otherwise, forget it! Don't climb the railing and don't climb the rocks (duh!).
Traverse City's Open Space is a park and gardens located on the West Grand Traverse Bay, immediately west of the marina. Many events are held here, including major parts of the National Cherry Festival, the Traverse City Film Festival and the Michigan Schooner Festival.
The Slowfyers Team visited the Schooner Festival yesterday and found this great place to hide our magnetic nanocache. In the movie "Titanic", there is a scene where Leonardo DiCaprio climbs up on the railing at the bow of the ship and shouts, "I'm the king of the world!" If you look around, you'll see some railing that maybe you could imagine to be at the bow of a ship. The nano's at waist level, stuck to the north side of a steel joint. There is no room to hide a pencil, so bring your own. Enjoy! Coordinates are the average of three readings on two days.
