Geocache Description:

This has had to be moved due to recent activity. Parking near cache available in lay-by on A428.

One of a series caches at mile intervals along the Ouse Vally Way.

The River Great Ouse flows from its source near Brackley to the sea at King's Lynn, running through Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Work is in progress on the Ouse Valley Way to open a network of footpaths along this magnificent river from 'source to sea' - making this route one of the longest river valley walks in Britain. The first section of the Ouse Valley Way walk opened in 1990 in the district of Huntingdonshire, and the whole route was formally opened in May 2004.

Mile Marker # 73 is one of a series of caches along this official Long Distance Footpath. The idea is to encourage more people to explore the walking equivalent of motorways, "speeding" the walker from start to finish (in this case from Syresham near Brackley to Kings Lynn). However, the entire walk can be broken down into day walks using public transport.

This is a 0.5l click and lock tupperware style box and could be described as a cache and dash.
